Loving Jesus.....Becoming Like Jesus.....Sharing Jesus!

Christian Union stands solidly in the theological traditions of the Church of God. Within that tradition, God has laid these core convictions on our hearts. |
You have enough to think about when you’re visiting a church for the first time. Let’s get some of the necessary questions out of the way now, so when you get to Christian Union you can experience the great music and friendly people, and connect with the message of hope that God has for you!
As you enter the building, we make sure the first face you see at Christian Union has a smile on it! A greeter will be nearby to help you get where you need to go.
The entire church congregation is our "youth minister."
Our youth are too valuable, too precious to be delegated to one paid staff person. We all want to be in direct relationship with each of our youth. If you love youth and children, you will very likely find many ways to be directly involved in their lives through our church's ministries.
We never encourage anyone to change churches.
The Body of Christ is not built up simply by trading members. If you are having difficulty in your congregation, our first priority is to help you find resolution so you can remain an active member there. If it becomes necessary for you to change churches, we want you to know that:
Christian Union is about relationships.
We intentionally develop and nurture relationships with God, with each other, with other Christian ministries, and with the entire world. We are called to treat every person as a child of God; therefore, we do not take relationships lightly. Relationships are everything!
We resist the increasingly competitive church climate; numbers are not our goal.
We believe that God calls us to resist contemporary market-driven pressures to produce "measurable results," i.e. more people and more money. We refuse to reduce ministry to a marketing strategy! Instead, we intend to remain faithful to our core convictions. We choose to proclaim and practice the historic Christian faith: the redemptive love and salvation of God through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
